Ingredients
2 servings- All-purpose flour (cake flour)120g
- Unsalted butter30g
- Sugar3 tbsp
- Beaten egg2 tbsp

Microwave 30g of unsalted butter briefly until softened.

Add 3 tbsp of sugar and mix well, then add 2 tbsp of beaten egg and mix further.

Add 120g of cake flour and knead by hand until the dough comes together into a log shape.

Freeze the dough for 10 minutes, then slice into 5mm-thick rounds.

Bake in an oven preheated to 170℃ for 19 minutes, until the surface is golden brown. Done!
Tips
If using cookie cutters, skip the freezing step — simply roll the dough out flat and cut into shapes. These cookies also work beautifully with icing on top.
