Rich Butter Cookie (Made with Just 30g of Butter)

You only need 30g of butter to make these amazing cookies! No sifting required and super easy - over 6000 people have made them and loved them!

  • All-purpose flour120g
  • Unsalted butter30g
  • ★Sugar3 tbsp
  • ★Beaten egg2 tbsp

    Warm 30g of unsalted butter in the microwave for a moment until soft.

    Add ★3 tbsp sugar and mix well, then add ★2 tbsp beaten egg and mix further.

    Add 120g all-purpose flour and mix by hand, kneading the dough into a stick shape.

    Freeze the dough for 10 minutes, then cut into 5mm thick slices.

    Bake in a preheated 170°C oven for 19 minutes until the surface turns golden brown.

Tips

If using cookie cutters, skip the freezing step and roll out the dough directly, then cut with your shapes. These cookies are also perfect for decorating with icing.
