  • Cake flour5 tbsp (lightly heaped)
  • Sugar3 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder (optional)1/2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil2.5 tbsp

    Add 5 tbsp cake flour, 3 tbsp sugar, and 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder into a plastic bag. Fill the bag with air and seal it tightly.

    Shake the bag vigorously to mix all the ingredients together.

    Add 2.5 tbsp vegetable oil into the bag and gently rub and mix through the plastic. You can also add a small amount of milk if you like (be careful not to knead too much, as it will become hard).

    Roll the dough into balls in the palm of your hand and gently flatten them. Place on parchment paper.

    Microwave for 2 minutes. It's okay if the cookies are still soft when done—they will harden as they cool.

    Microwaves vary in power output. If the cookies brown too quickly, reduce the wattage and increase the cooking time accordingly.

Tips

For a richer flavor, you can use the same amount of melted butter, margarine, or milk instead of vegetable oil.
