A simple stir-fry made with chikuwa fish cakes and komatsuna greens! The sweet and savory flavor makes it perfect with rice or packed in a bento box♪

  • Chikuwa (fish cake tubes)4
  • Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)1 bunch
  • Sesame oilto taste
  • ★Soy sauce2 tbsp
  • ★Mirin1 tbsp
  • ★Sugar1 tbsp
  • ★White sesame seeds1 tbsp
  • ★Red chili pepper (sliced into rounds)a pinch

    Slice 4 chikuwa into rounds, and cut 1 bunch of komatsuna into 1–2 cm pieces.

    Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the chikuwa and komatsuna over high heat.

    Once the komatsuna has wilted slightly, add the ★ seasonings and toss everything together well.
