    Tear 1/4 of the cabbage into bite-sized pieces by hand.

    Place 1/4 of the cabbage and 2-3 pinches of salt kelp together and massage gently with your hands until the flavors are evenly distributed throughout.

    Drizzle 1 tbsp of sesame oil over the top and toss to add a fragrant, toasted aroma.

    Pro tip: Place all ingredients in a vinyl bag and massage to mix – this way you have minimal dishes to wash!

Tips

Tearing the cabbage by hand rather than cutting gives it a better texture and more satisfying bite. Using low-sodium salt kelp will make this dish even healthier.
