Stir-Fried Bell Peppers and Shiitake Mushrooms with Butter

    Cut the 6 bell peppers and 3 or more shiitake mushrooms into thin strips.

    Stir-fry the bell peppers first, then sprinkle a pinch of salt to season lightly.

    Add the shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry. Once cooked through, add 1-2 tbsp of ★soy sauce to the edge of the pan to caramelize and create a fragrant, charred flavor.

    Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper and add a small amount of butter, then toss everything together to finish.

    When making for lunch boxes, use less butter so the dish remains appetizing even when cooled.

Tips
