Crispy Sweet Potato and Lotus Root Sesame Stir-Fry

Autumn root vegetables and pork stir-fried in a deep roasted sesame dressing! It's wonderfully sweet and savory with an amazing sesame flavor that's just perfect♪

Ingredients

  • Sweet potato1/2 large
  • Lotus root80g
  • Pork (thin cuts)150g
  • ★Salta pinch
  • ★Black peppera pinch
  • ★Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • ★Kewpie Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing3 tbsp

    Wash the sweet potato well without peeling. Slice it into 1cm thick half-moon shapes and soak in water.

    Wipe the sweet potato, place in a heat-safe container, loosely cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 500W for about 3 minutes.

    Peel the lotus root, slice into 1cm thick half-moon shapes, soak in water, and drain. Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces.

    Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a frying pan, add lotus root and pork, and stir-fry. When the pork changes color, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

    Add the microwaved sweet potato and continue stir-frying. Once everything is cooked through, add 3 tbsp Kewpie Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing and toss to coat.

Tips

After adding the dressing, continue stir-frying while coating everything together. This removes excess moisture and brings out the flavors.
