2 servings- Zucchini1 (160g)
- Salt1/2 tsp
- ★Mayonnaise (low-fat type optional)1 tbsp
- ★Wasabi2cm tube or more
- ★Bonito flakes1/2 small package (about 1.5g)
- ★Minced garlica pinch
- ★Black pepperto taste
- ★Dashi soy sauce (or concentrated mentsuyu)just a few drops

Slice 1 zucchini (160g) into thin slices 1-2mm thick. Add 1/2 tsp salt and mix. Let sit for about 10 minutes. Rinse under running water to remove salt, then firmly squeeze by hand to drain excess moisture.

In a bowl, combine ★1 tbsp mayonnaise, ★2cm wasabi tube, ★1/2 small package bonito flakes, ★a pinch minced garlic, and ★black pepper to taste. Mix well.

Add the squeezed zucchini to the bowl and toss with the mayonnaise mixture. Taste as you go and add ★just a few drops of dashi soy sauce to adjust the overall flavor.

Tips
