  • Bean sprouts1 bag (200g)
  • Ham3–4 slices
  • ★Mentsuyu (3x concentrated)scant 2 tbsp
  • ★Mayonnaise1 tbsp
  • ★Lemon juice1 tsp
  • ★Toasted sesame seedsto taste

    Cut the ham into thin strips.

    Briefly blanch the bean sprouts, then drain thoroughly. Once cooled, pat dry with paper towels to remove any remaining moisture.

    Place the ham and bean sprouts in a bowl, add all the ★ seasonings, and toss well to combine.

    Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!

Tips

After cooling the bean sprouts, be sure to pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels — this keeps the salad from getting watery. A 3x concentrated mentsuyu is recommended for the best flavor.
