No fermentation, no oven — just a frying pan and 30 minutes to fresh-baked pizza! This super easy recipe is perfect when you're craving pizza without the fuss♪
Ingredients
2 servings- All-purpose flour (cake flour)200g
- Baking powder1/2 tsp
- Sugar1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil1/2 tbsp
- Lukewarm water (approx. 40°C)100cc
- ★Pizza sauceto taste
- ★Melting cheese (shredded mozzarella)to taste
- ★Toppings of your choiceto taste
Directions
30 min- 1
In a bowl, combine 200g all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil. Gradually add 100cc of lukewarm water while mixing. The dough may feel sticky at first — resist adding extra flour and keep mixing.
- 2
Once the floury texture disappears and the dough feels as soft as an earlobe, knead by hand for 2–3 minutes. No need to use heavy force. The whole process should take about 5 minutes.
- 3
Chop any vegetables you'd like to use as toppings and microwave them for about 1 minute. Cover the dough with plastic wrap while you do this to keep it from drying out.
- 4
Place a sheet of parchment paper slightly larger than your frying pan on a cutting board. Put the dough on top and roll it out thin with a rolling pin.
- 5
Transfer the dough into the frying pan along with the parchment paper. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for about 3 minutes.
- 6
Once the bottom of the dough is cooked, flip it over. Spread the ★ pizza sauce, then add your ★ toppings of choice and ★ melting cheese. Cover and cook over low heat until the cheese is fully melted.
- 7
This recipe makes a thick, hearty crust. If you prefer a thinner crust, use half the dough amount.
- 8
To bake half the dough in an oven, preheat to 250°C and bake for about 5 minutes. Adjust the time based on your oven's performance. You can skip the microwave step for the vegetables when using the oven.
- 9
The baked crust can be wrapped in plastic wrap and frozen. Next time, simply add your toppings while it thaws and bake straight away.
- 10
【Easy Pizza Sauce】Place ketchup, basil, watercress, black pepper, and garlic (all to taste) directly on the dough and spread them together.
Tips
Make sure to knead the dough for 2–3 minutes once it reaches an earlobe-like softness. Under-kneading will result in a dry, dense crust. Always use parchment paper even if your pan is non-stick (PTFE-coated). Cooking over heat that is too high will also make the crust tough, so be sure to keep the flame on low.
