
Silky Melted Cheese and Aromatic Black Pepper Warm Tofu (Agedashi-Style)

The combo of melted cheese and black pepper on warm tofu is absolutely amazing! The best part? It's super easy to make in the microwave — love it♪
Ingredients
1 servings- Silken tofu1 block (approx. 150g)
- Melting cheese slice1 slice
- ★Coarsely ground black pepperto taste
- ★Soy saucea pinch
- ★Wasabioptional

Pat the surface of 1 block of silken tofu (approx. 150g) dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Place 1 slice of melting cheese on top of the drained tofu and microwave at 600W for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Once the cheese has melted and is nice and gooey, sprinkle with ★coarsely ground black pepper to taste and drizzle with ★a little soy sauce.

For extra flavor, you can also enjoy it with ★wasabi mixed into soy sauce drizzled on top.
Tips
If you're in a hurry, skip the draining step — just microwave the tofu first, then pour off any water that collects before adding the toppings.
