Directions

  1. 1

Pat the 400g of bamboo shoots dry with paper towels. Cut them into thin ginkgo-leaf shapes about 5mm thick (slice the tender tips into bite-sized pieces).

  2. 2

Melt 15g of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Once it begins to melt, add the bamboo shoots and sauté over medium heat.

  3. 3

When the surface becomes lightly golden, drizzle in 2 tbsp of yakiniku sauce and toss to coat evenly.

  4. 4

Transfer the sautéed bamboo shoots to a plate, top with melting cheese to taste, and heat in the microwave for about 1 minute until the cheese melts. Finish by sprinkling a pinch of parsley on top.

Tips

Adjust the amount of yakiniku sauce to your taste preference. Feel free to adjust the cheese amount as well. For extra fragrance, lightly bake in the oven after microwaving.
