Crispy Natto and Onion Pan-Fried Patty

Just natto and onion, but when you pan-fry them, they turn into the ultimate snack! Golden and crispy on the outside—you'll be totally hooked!

  • Onion (small)1/2
  • ★Sake1 tbsp
  • ★Cornstarch2 tbsp

    Cut 1/2 small onion into small dice.

    In a bowl, combine the diced onion, 1 pack of natto (add the included sauce if available), and the ★ seasonings. Mix well.

    Heat oil in a frying pan and spread the mixture into a flat, round patty. Cook over medium-low to medium heat for about 5 minutes until one side turns golden brown, then flip and cook the other side similarly.

    Transfer to a serving plate and top with mustard (optional), soy sauce, or ponzu sauce to taste.

Tips

Adjust the heat carefully while cooking to prevent over-browning, and cook slowly for the best results.
