Directions

25 min
  1. 1

Cut 1 medium carrot and about 30 green beans to the same length, then parboil them. Using a microwave will save time.

  2. 2

Lay 4 slices of pork (200g total) overlapping each other, then arrange the carrots and green beans on top in a checkered pattern.

  3. 3

Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the vegetables, then roll the pork tightly from the near side.

  4. 4

Just before cooking, dust the entire surface evenly with all-purpose flour. Using a fine-mesh sieve will give a neat finish.

  5. 5

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the rolls seam-side down. Once nicely browned, wipe off the excess oil with a paper towel, then add the ★ seasonings and toss to coat.

  6. 6

Cut the cooked pork rolls into thirds with a knife, arrange on a plate, and serve.

Tips

Dusting the rolls with flour before cooking gives them a golden, fragrant crust. Wiping away the excess fat with a paper towel helps the sauce absorb better and prevents the dish from becoming greasy. For an extra kick, try stir-frying with garlic — it pairs wonderfully with rice!
