Fluffy Salmon Fried Rice

This fluffy salmon fried rice is packed with salmon flakes! The secret to the perfect texture is mixing the egg into the rice first. It's absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • Cooked rice400g
  • Salmon flakes40g
  • Green onions (scallions)to taste
  • ★Eggs2
  • ★Soy sauce1 tbsp
  • ★Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • ★Ginger (grated)a pinch
  • ★Salt and peppera pinch
  • Sesame oil for stir-frying1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce for finishinga dash along the wok edge

    In a bowl, combine the ★ seasonings (2 eggs, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil, a pinch of ginger, and salt and pepper). Mix well.

    Add the ★ seasonings to 400g of cooked rice and mix thoroughly until evenly coated.

    Heat 1 tbsp of sesame oil in a frying pan, add the rice mixture, and stir-fry.

    When the rice is halfway cooked, add 40g of salmon flakes and stir-fry until combined.

    Add green onions to taste and stir-fry everything together well.

    Add a dash of soy sauce along the wok edge, adjust the seasoning, and serve.

Tips

When the egg is well coated on the grains of rice, the fried rice will have a light, fluffy texture when cooked.
