Ingredients
2 servings- Taro (satoimo)250g (3 large)
- Konjac (konnyaku)1 block

- ★Mirin1 tbsp

Peel the taro (250g / 3 large) and cut into pieces slightly smaller than bite-sized.

Tear the konjac (1 block) by hand into pieces roughly the same size as the taro.

Heat a drizzle of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the taro and konjac, and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.

Add 150ml of water and bring to a boil, then add all the ★ seasonings, stir to combine, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally.

Once the liquid has reduced to about one-third, remove the lid and stir continuously with a wooden spatula until the liquid is almost completely absorbed.

Plate and serve.
