This is the classic hamburger from that bear chef in the white apron! Fluffy, juicy, and the simple sauce is absolutely delicious♪
Ingredients
2 servings- Ground beef and pork mix250g
- Onion1/2
- Panko breadcrumbs5 tbsp (about 1/3 cup)
- Milk40ml
- Egg1
- Salt1/3 tsp
- Black peppera pinch
- Water50ml
- ★Ketchup3 tbsp
- ★Worcestershire sauce1 tbsp
Directions
30 min- 1
Finely chop 1/2 onion and heat in the microwave for 4-5 minutes or sauté in a frying pan until softened.
- 2
Add 1/3 tsp salt to 250g ground meat and mix well with your hands until sticky. Then add the onion, 5 tbsp panko, 40ml milk, 1 egg, and a pinch of black pepper, and mix quickly.
- 3
Divide the meat mixture into 2-3 portions and shape into ovals with your palms, pressing out air. Make a slight indent in the center.
- 4
Cook the hamburgers in a frying pan until both sides are golden brown. Add 50ml water, cover, and steam-cook.
- 5
Insert a skewer into the hamburger; when the juices run clear, remove the lid and increase heat to evaporate any remaining moisture. Remove the hamburger from the pan.
- 6
Add the ★ seasonings to the frying pan and warm over medium heat, stirring. Pour the warm sauce over the hamburger and serve.
Tips
If the sauce tastes too acidic, add 1 tsp sugar to adjust. For deeper flavor, try adding nutmeg to the hamburger patty or replacing the water in the sauce with red wine.
