Fluffy Mashed Potatoes Made in a Pot

    Peel 500g of potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a pot, add enough water to just cover them, and bring to a boil.

    When a bamboo skewer slides through easily, drain the water completely and let the steam dry. Mash the potatoes thoroughly in the pot using a potato masher.

    Add the ★ seasonings to the mashed potatoes and heat over low heat while stirring with a spatula. Pour in about half the milk (approximately 50ml) first, then gradually add the remaining milk bit by bit until you reach your desired smoothness.

    Once you have a smooth consistency that's neither too thick nor too thin, remove from heat and serve.

Tips

Mixing slowly over low heat will make the mashed potatoes fluffy and create a smoother, creamier texture.
