Directions

15 min
  1. 1

Cut the pork thinly sliced meat (180g) and bell peppers (3) into thin strips. Rub the pork with 1/2 tbsp sake and 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, then add 2 tsp cornstarch and mix well to prepare. Combine the ★ seasonings (2 tsp each of sake, sugar, and soy sauce, and a pinch of black pepper) in a small bowl.

  2. 2

Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan over medium heat and stir-fry the pork, breaking it apart as it cooks. Once the meat is about 80% cooked, add the bell peppers and stir-fry everything together.

  3. 3

Add the ★ seasonings and stir constantly to ensure the sugar dissolves evenly and coats everything well.

Tips

When adding the seasonings, stir carefully so the sugar dissolves evenly. You can fine-tune the amount of sauce depending on the size and firmness of the bell peppers for better balance.
