Directions

15 min
  1. 1

Slice 1/2 stalk of green onion into thin rings using kitchen scissors and prepare 1 tsp of grated ginger.

  2. 2

Add 100g of ground pork to a bowl, then add the green onion and ginger and mix well.

  3. 3

Add all the ★ seasonings and mix until everything is well combined.

  4. 4

Scoop 1 block of silken tofu with a spoon and spread it evenly in a microwave-safe container.

  5. 5

Arrange the pork mixture on top and flatten it gently into an even layer.

  6. 6

Cover the container with plastic wrap and microwave for about 7 minutes.

  7. 7

Pierce the center with a wooden skewer to check if the pork is no longer pink - if it's cooked through, you're done.

  8. 8

After serving, gently break apart the pork mixture with a wooden skewer for a nice presentation.

  9. 9

If the pork is still pink, continue microwaving in short intervals until fully cooked.

  10. 10

For those who prefer spice, add doubanjiang (spicy bean paste) or chili oil to enhance the flavor.

Tips

No need to drain the tofu. The water that seeps from the tofu creates just the right flavor balance. Microwave cooking times vary by machine, so adjust as needed to ensure the pork is fully cooked. For best results, use a large microwave-safe container to help the heat distribute evenly.
