- Vegetable oil1/2 tbsp (7.5ml)

Add the ★ seasonings (3 tbsp cake flour, 3 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder) to a mug. If using cocoa or other powder toppings, mix them together now.

Mix well until there are no lumps of sugar or flour.

Add 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil and 1 egg, and mix gently and thoroughly to avoid lumps.

Add toppings (chocolate chips, jam, etc.) and adjust so the batter fills about 1/3 of the mug. Tap the bottom of the mug gently to remove air bubbles before heating.

Microwave at 500W for 2 minutes. For other power levels: 600W for 2 minutes, 800W for 1 minute 20-40 seconds, 900W for 1 minute 20 seconds, or 1300W for 1 minute 5 seconds. Adjust as needed.
