Crispy and Juicy Salmon with Garlic Butter Soy Sauce

This salmon meunière with aromatic garlic butter soy sauce is absolutely delicious! You won't be able to stop eating it with rice!

Ingredients

  • Salmon2 fillets
  • Salt and peppera pinch
  • All-purpose flourto taste
  • ⚫︎Butter5 g
  • ⚫︎Vegetable oil1 tbsp
  • Minced garlic1 clove
  • Butter5–10 g
  • ★Mirin1 tsp
  • ★Soy sauce1 tbsp

    Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on 2 salmon fillets and let sit for about 5 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels to remove any moisture.

    Lightly dust the entire salmon with all-purpose flour.

    Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and 5 g butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook.

    Once the presentation side turns golden brown, flip the salmon over.

    Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 3–5 minutes until cooked through. Transfer the salmon to a serving plate.

    In the same skillet, add 1 clove minced garlic and sauté. Once fragrant, add 5–10 g butter, then add the ★ seasonings and simmer over low heat until the sauce is slightly reduced.

    Pour the sauce over the salmon and serve.

Tips

Adjust the amount of butter in the sauce according to the fat content of the salmon for better balance.
