

This omurice is absolutely delicious! Just mix ketchup and sauce to create an authentic demi-glace style sauce - it looks so fancy and tasty!
Ingredients
3 servings- Chicken thigh150g
- Onion3/4
- Cooked rice450g
- Beaten eggs6
- Mushrooms (shiitake, button mushrooms, etc.)1 pack
- ★Vegetable oil1 tsp
- ★Ketchup6 tbsp
- ★Salta pinch
- ★Black peppera pinch
- ★Milk150ml
- ★Vegetable oil1/2 tbsp
- ★Ketchup2 tbsp
- ★Worcestershire sauce2 tbsp
- ★Water50ml
- ★Butter10g
- ★Milk3 tbsp

Heat 1 tsp of ★vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add 150g of chicken thigh cut into 1cm cubes and 3/4 of an onion, sautéing in order. Once cooked through, add 6 tbsp of ★ketchup and stir-fry to combine.

Add 450g of warm cooked rice and break it up while stir-frying over high heat. Season with ★salt and ★black pepper to taste, then transfer to a plate.

Mix 6 beaten eggs thoroughly in a bowl. Pour 150ml of ★milk into a frying pan and heat. Once boiling, quickly add the egg mixture all at once.

Heat while stirring until it reaches a semi-cooked consistency, then place on top of the chicken rice.

Heat 1/2 tbsp of ★vegetable oil in a small pot and sauté 1 pack of mushrooms cut into bite-sized pieces.

Add 2 tbsp of ★ketchup, 2 tbsp of ★Worcestershire sauce, 50ml of ★water, and 10g of ★butter. Heat for 1-2 minutes until boiling and the sauce thickens, then pour over the omurice.

Pour 3 tbsp of ★milk on top and serve.
Tips
The special demi sauce can also be easily made in a microwave. Put 1 pack of mushrooms, 2 tbsp each of ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, and 10g of butter in a heat-safe container. Heat at 600W for about 2 minutes.
