Even my brother who's not great at cooking was proud of this natto fried rice! The aroma of butter combined with the rich flavor of natto is absolutely delicious♪
Ingredients
1 servings- Cooked rice (warm)1 bowl
- Natto with included sauce1 pack
- Green onion (minced)10 cm
- Butter10 g
- ★Hondashi (dashi seasoning)1 tsp
- ★Soy sauce1-2 tsp
Directions
5 min- 1
Mix 1 pack of natto well with its included sauce and let it combine.
- 2
Heat 10 g of butter in a frying pan, and once melted, add the natto and stir-fry.
- 3
Add 1 bowl of warm cooked rice and mix in 1 tsp hondashi while stir-frying everything together.
- 4
Add 10 cm of minced green onion and stir-fry until the aroma becomes fragrant.
- 5
Pour 1-2 tsp of soy sauce along the side of the pan and stir-fry until a fragrant aroma spreads throughout. The key here is to avoid stirring too much—use a ladle to lightly press and let it sit until it gets a nice sear.
- 6
Once seared, flip it over and repeat this process several times to achieve a deliciously crispy and fragrant texture.
Tips
Once you start stir-frying, don't stir too frequently. Let it sit until it gets a nice sear to enhance the fragrant aroma. Once seared, flip it and repeat several times for a better, crispier finish.
