Fluffy Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Drop cookies loaded with big chunks of chocolate chips! Super easy to make - just scoop with a spoon and bake. They're absolutely delicious! ♪

  • Butter (salted or unsalted)100g
  • Sugar75g
  • Egg1
  • Cake flour180-200g (adjust based on egg size)
  • Chocolate chips (or coarsely chopped chocolate bar for better texture)100g or to taste

    If using a chocolate bar, chop it into large pieces to use as chocolate chips.

    Heat 100g of butter in a microwave at 500W for about 40 seconds until soft. Mix with a whisk until creamy.

    Add 75g of sugar and mix well until smooth.

    Add 1 egg and mix until fully combined.

    Sift in 180-200g of cake flour and gently fold with a rubber spatula until the dough comes together with no dry flour visible.

    Add 100g or more of chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

    Using two spoons, drop the dough onto parchment paper, spacing cookies well apart. Gently shape if needed.

    Bake in a preheated 170°C oven for 10-15 minutes. Adjust baking time based on your oven and preferred crispness.
