Ingredients
2 servings- Cabbage1/4 head (250g)
- A Egg1
- A All-purpose flour3/4 cup
- A Water1/4 cup
- Rice oil2 tsp

Thinly slice the 1/4 head (250g) of cabbage. It's fine if the pieces are a bit coarse.

In a bowl, combine 1 A egg, 3/4 cup A all-purpose flour, and 1/4 cup A water, and mix well.

Add the sliced cabbage to the batter and mix everything together well with a spatula.

Heat 2 tsp of rice oil in a frying pan, pour in the batter, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat.

Once the edges of the batter are set, flip it over, remove the lid, and cook the other side.

Once cooked through, transfer to a plate and serve.
Tips
The seasoning is kept light since sauce will be drizzled on top. If you're not using sauce, adjust the amount of dashi accordingly. Adding cheese or dried shrimp will add depth to the flavor.
